Hardback, 7.5 x 5 inches. In later full calf leather fine binding, with decorative blind embossed paneled boards, with raised and gilt banding to spine, with gilt lettered leather spine label. Speckled edges, plain endpapers. In very good condition. Some minor fading to spine, some rubbing to corners and spine ends. Some minor darkening around edges of endpapers, bookplate to front “Morough O’Brien,” with small stamp above “H.N. Leftwich.” Inside pages all very clean and tight throughout. One minor ink mark/smudge to corner of p149, else an excellent clean and tight early edition. 403pp. Lacks main frontis plate. With decorative chapter headers and tailpieces.
