Hardback, Size approx 29cm x 24.5cm. quarto, full morocco gilt presentation binding by Zaehnsdorf for Queen Alexandra (1844-1925) with her Royal Monogram in gilt to top board. all edges gilt, inner dentelles gilt. In very good condition. Some minor rubbing on edges, with a few light marks. Inside some light foxing, rear endpaper has a few small holes on fore edge, else a clean and tight copy. 500pp With 116 coloured plates plus 71 black and white plates as called for Provenance: from the collection of E Parsons, ex Head Gardener at Sandringham, Queen Alexandra was one of the patrons of the 1912 conference (see page 180)
