All page edges gilt. With dark grey endpapers. In very good conditions. Spines darkened, extremities and edges rubbed, corners slightly bumped. Some minor handling marks to boards else bright and clean. Endpapers clean, bookplates to fronts “Sir John William Lubbock, Bart.” Some minor foxing spots to prelims. Stain to corner of frontis plate with some light foxing. Pencil inscriptions to title pages (private shelf codes.) Inside pages overall very clean and tight throughout. Some minor darkening to edges of plates with some minor foxing spots.
