Marbled endpapers. In very good conditions. Stunning fine bindings, boards and gilt bright. Some minor darkening to spines and minor rubbing to edges and corners. Sturdy cloth-bound inner hinges. Binders stamp to rear corner of endpaper “J. Leighton, Brewer St.” Some minor spots to prelims. Neat inscription to halftitle page in v.1. “W.J. Stirling Crawford, Langton Hall.” Inside pages all clean, crisp and tight throughout, no darkening or marks.
