Complete in 16 Volumes (10 + 6.) Hardback, 8 x 5 inches. In fine tree calf leather bindings, with later leather spines and labels. Plain endpapers. In very good conditions. Modern spines. Some bumps to corners of boards, Some minor rubbing to edges. Modern bookplate to endpapers “K.I. Beynon.” Neat penned inscription top edges of title pages “Mary Hutchinson 1813.” Some minor marks to endpapers and prelims, some minor darkening and foxing to frontis in vol.1., some handling marks and minor spots to pages but overall very clean and tight pages. Some handling marks and a couple of minor spots to plates, some minor offsetting to adjacent pages, plates all guarded. But illustrations mostly very clean and bright. Else a very good, clean and tight complete set. (16) 10 + 6 Volumes. Illustrated with b&w and coloured engraved plates. Vols.1-4 have 6 B&W plates including frontis portrait. Vols.5-10 have 81 coloured plates, each with 2 illustrations per page. Vols.11-16 have 48 coloured plates, with multiple illustrations.
