Large hardback, approx 20 x 13.5 inches. Quarter bound in maroon morocco leather and red cloth covered boards. Gilt and raised banding and lettering to spine. Pale yellow endpapers. Top page edges gilt. In very good condition. Cover is quite worn and loose from main binding. Leather on corners are rubbed off, surface chips to leather on spine. Spine darkened, darkening and handling marks to boards. Endpaper and frontis loose. Edges of frontis and endpaper creased with small tears. Some small light foxing spots to edges of frontis. some handling marks to title page. One or two minor spots and thumb marks to pages, plates all guarded. Some light foxing to plates, 7, 10, 27 & 48. Else plates all very clean and bright. Else a clean and tight copy. 52p + 81pp text. Illustrated with 50 full-page colour lithographic plates, including decorative title page.
