Marbled endpapers and page edges. In very good conditions. Some rubbing and shelfwear to boards and extremities; edges, corners and ends of spines. Some small nicks to leather on edges. Some bumps and rubbing to rear board, and small chip to top end of spine on vol.1. Vols. 1&2 have twin spine labels only, vols.3-5 volume numbers are directly onto spines. Vols. 3 & 4 have different marbling style to page edges. Prize bookplate to front endpaper “Edwards Isaac Sparkes, Harroviensi, 1861.” Some minor light foxing to endpapers and title pages, else inside pages all very clean and tight throughout.
