Gilt “S” design to front. Marbled endpapers and page edges. In very good condition. Edges bumped and rubbed, chip to top edge of front board. Some small surface chips to corners. Ends of spine chipped and slightly split at ends. Prize label to front “Morning Preparatory Class for Sons of Gentlemen, Philip Pye Smith, 1903.” Endpapers clean, no other penned inscriptions. Some minor tanning to inside pages else pages all very clean and tight throughout. Else a very clean and tight copy. 122pp. Illustrated by John Tenniel with 42 b&w illustrations.
