A couple of minor handling marks, edges rubbed, corners bumped and slightly chipped on leading corners. Some minor darkening to prelims, presentation inscription to front “Presented to the Vaughan Library, in memory of John H. Mackie, The Head Masters 1911-1913, Christ Church Oxford, Member of Parliament for Galloway 1931-1958, by Robin Cooke, The Head Masters and Bradbys 1944-1949, Member of Parliament for Bristol 1957. With whom he visited The Hill on the last day of the Christmas Term 1958, his first visit since he left the school 45 years before. He died 3 weeks later.” Inside pages all clean and tight throughout. No other penned inscriptions. Plates clean and bright.
