15 volumes. Hardbacks. 8.5 x 5.5 inches. Bound in full speckled calf leather, with twin black leather spine labels lettered in gilt, with gilt banding and numbering. Plain endpapers and speckled page edges. In very good conditions. Some minor rubbing to corners and edges, some areas of minor rubbing and handling marks to boards. Endpapers clean, neat pencil inscription to front of vol.1, “Robert Cooke, Chummock Wood, 1949” (later Athelhampton House, Dorset.) Some minor light spots to to endpapers, some offsetting/darkening to title page in vol.1. from frontis plate. Some occasional minor light foxing spots else inside pages very clean and tight throughout. Else a very good set. 15 volumes. Volume 1 ils illustrated with an engraved frontis portrait. Volumes 13 - 14: “Debates in Parliament.” 1811. Volume 15 (in 3 parts): “Sermons for Different Subjects,” by John Taylor, Published by Samuel Hayes, 4th ed. 1800.
