Marbled endpapers, top page edges gilt. In very good condition. Paper rubbed around edges. Corners bumped with small chips. A couple of bumps to top edge. Some rubbing to edges of spine. Boards slightly darkened. Bookplate to front endpaper “Ethel Isobel Lindo.” “Zaensdorf” binders stamp to verso corner of endpaper. Some minor handling marks and light foxing spots to plates, all guarded. Else a very clean and tight copy. Unpaginated. Illustrated with 60 b&w engraved plates. Complete. Title pages with vignettes bound in at rear.
