Gilt lettering and numbering to spines, with raised banding and gilt decoration. Gilt line detailing to boards. Marbled endpapers. All page edges gilt. In very good conditions. Extremities rubbed; Some minor bumps and chips to corners. Some darkening and rubbing to edges, spines and ends. Some rubbing to paper on boards, small rubbed-through hole to rear of v.2. Endpapers clean, bookplates to fronts “R. La Touche, & Burkland, Sir Morris Fitzgerald, Knight of Kerry.” Decorative title page and frontis darkened and foxed. Some moderate darkening and foxing to inside plates. Else very good clean and tight copies. 170 & 186pp + adverts. Illustrated with 121 full-page engraved plates including 2 title-page vignettes, map AND Engraved frontis portrait of N.P. Willis.
