In full calf leather binding with black leather spine label lettered in gilt, raised banding and gilt decoration to spine, gilt and blind embossed decorative paneled boards. Marbled endpapers, all page edges gilt. In very good condition. Some wear to cover, corners bumped and slightly nicked/chipped. Rubbing/nicks to ends of spines. Some darkening and handling marks to boards. Bookplate to front “William Wilfred Cary,” and stamped “Withdrawn, Priaulx Library Guernsey.” No penned inscriptions. Some minor darkening to endpapers,a couple of minor handling marks to text pages. Some mild foxing to plates, most are tissue-guarded. Else overall a very clean and tight copy. 82pp. Illustrated with 80 B&W views on 40 plates (2 per page) plus decorative engraved title page.
