6 vols; Hardback, 7 x 4 inches. Bound in full calf leather bindings, spines with dark red and black leather labels lettered in gilt, with raised banding. Plain endpapers and edges. In very good conditions. Spines darkened with some minor rubbing, spine label on v.2. partly chipped. Small chips to top corners of spines on vols.1, 3 & 5. Corners slightly bumped and rubbed ,with some rubbing to edges. Edges of boards darkened. Some handling marks and rubbing to boards. Small minor crack to front hinge vol.1. Endpapers darkened around edges. Neat inscriptions to front endpapers. Deleted inscription to main title page. Some minor spots and some darkening to a couple of pages, else inside pages clean and tight. 6 vols. Approx 350pp per vol. Illustrated with a folding engraved map and 2 engraved frontis portaits in vols.1 & 2.
