Gilt lettering to green leather spine label. Raised and decorative gilt banding to spine. Marbled edges, plain endpapers. In very good condition. Some rubbing and chips to corners and ends of spine. Some light rubbing to boards. Small chip to cloth on leading edge. Glue repair to front hinge between endpapers. Endpapers foxed. Some light foxing to title page. Lacks coloured half-title page. Some light foxing and minor handling marks to pages, some minor spots to plates. Colour plates very clean and bright. Else a clean and tight copy. 744pp. Illustrated with an engraved frontis portrait. 45 steel-engraved plates (22 of which are hand-coloured showing the various plants).
