Hardback, 8.5 x 7 inches. In red cloth covers with black lettering to spine and black paneling and crest to front. Plain page edging. In Illustrated dustwrapper. In very good condition with very good dustwrapper. (DW: some minor handling marks and slight darkening, some rubbing to ends of spine with small chip to top corner of spine. In protective sleeve.) some fading to cloth at bottom end of spine and under chip at top corner. A couple of small handling marks. Colour plates clean and bright. Some minor foxing to page edges and some light foxing. Else a clean, bright and tight copy. 208pp +6pp cat. Illustrated with 8 colour & 16 b&w plates, plus line drawings and maps. Descriptions of ‘unknown’ parts of Dorset from the 1920’s. Contains eight colour plates from drawings by the author and many illustrations in monochrome and line, also by the author.
