Some staining and fading to cloth on spine and under chip at top corner. Some light handling marks to boards. Bookplate to front endpaper, “Florence M. Beattie.” Colour plates clean and bright. Some mild foxing to half title and last pages, some minor spots to inside pages. Else a very good, clean and tight copy. 208pp +6pp cat. Illustrated with 8 colour & 16 b&w plates, plus line drawings and maps. Descriptions of ‘unknown’ parts of Dorset from the 1920’s. Contains eight colour plates from drawings by the author and many illustrations in monochrome and line, also by the author.
