Hardback, 7 x 5 inches. Purple cloth with gilt lettering to front with gilt and decorative black embossed paneling and gilt crest to front. Top page edges gilt. Pale yellow endpapers. In very good condition. Cloth rubbed and faded; chips to cloth on ends of spine and top front corner, some minor soiling and handling marks. Small chip to corner of front endpaper with small minor stain to opposite edge. Some minor darkening to frontis plate and last page. A few handling marks to prelims including preface and contents pages else inside pages clean and tight. 144pp. Illustrated with 6 full page B&W plates.
