In very good conditions. Some rubbing/wear to leather on spines and corners, spines rubbed, corners and ends chipped. Small chip/bump to foredge vol.1. Some minor light spots to endpapers, frontis foxed and darkened. Some darkening/foxing to pages immediately opposite plates, most plates with only minor spots except plate p.197 vol.1 heavily darkened. Repaired tear to map at front, folded edge has red ink from page edging. Moderate foxing spots in vol.2 Else clean and tight copies. 358pp. Complete with 42 full-page engraved plates plus a folding map.
