Large hardback, approx 13 x 10 inches. In dark brown cloth with gilt lettering to front. Top edges gilt. Plain endpapers. In very good condition. Some rubbing and handling marks to cloth, corners bumped and chipped with nicks to ends of spine. Title to spine handwritten in pen. Presentation plate to front endpaper signed by the author “To Mr Walter Jennings, compliments of John E. Stillwell, N.Y. City, 1929.” Bookplates above and below “Henry Harrison de Frise, Curator, Member Museums Council New York City.” Four small old pieces of tape are stuck to the following free endpaper. Glue repair to rear hinge. Else pages all very clean and tight throughout. 106pp. Illustrated with b&w plates.
