Three Volumes. Large hardbacks, each approx 15 x 10 inches. Bound in full brown morocco leather with gilt lettering and banding to spines and decorative gilt paneled boards. Yellow endpapers. In very good conditions. Some rubbing to edges and corners. Some handling marks to boards/rubbing to leading board edges. Chip to bottom of spine on v.3., repaired chip to bottom of spine v.1., partial split at top of spine on v.2. Some darkening to edges of endpapers, some light foxing spots to plates, with some light staining to some. Else very clean and tight copies. 556, 470 & 472pp. Illustrated with many full page B&W engraved plates, hand coloured engraved map, and portraits.
