Raised and gilt banding to spines, light brown leather labels lettered in gilt, with small circular dark green numbered labels. Plain endpapers. In very good conditions. Spines darkened and rubbed, edges rubbed, corners slightly bumped. Some minor handling marks to boards, small surface chip to vol.3. Inscriptions to endpapers “Helen Begg,” & “John E Robinson,” with another inscription to title pages “Wills. Mune.” Some minor spots and handling mars, the odd small tear to page edges, Else very clean and tight copies. Illustrated with B&W engraved plates. A monthly magazine for farmers. This is the collected editions for the latter half of the year 1845. Subjects include turnips, the Derby winner Merry Monarch, cheese making, fences and hedging, ale and beer, chemistry for farmers, beans and peas, drainage, potato diseases, and much else.
