Framed size approx 16 x 14 inches. Size within mount approx 10 x 8 inches. In gold and black wood frame behind glass, with dark maroon mount. In very good condition. Some darkening and mild foxing, else overall a clean and crisp map. Hand-coloured outline, title, and main county towns. The Map shows the principal roads, rivers, railways and canals. The Walker brothers were publishers and engravers. Their "British Atlas", published first in 1837 was re-issued until 1852.
