Professional repair to front hinge, leather re-laid over cloth. Corners and edges bumped and rubbed, rubbing to leather on spine and corners, some rubbing and marks to boards. Small crack stating at top of rear hinge. Stamp to front endpaper “Honourable Company of Master Mariners.” Moderate foxing spots around frontispieces, mild-moderate foxing to inner plates, some minor handling marks, else pages clean and tight. 190pp; 155pp. Illustrated with 127 b&w engraved plates (including frontispieces and title vignettes.) Plus a frontis engraving of Queen Victoria.
