Slight browning to pages throughout. 153pp. With b/w and colour plates and line drawings in text.. The Army Pageant was held in 1910 to instill a sense of Patriotism in Britain and the Empire. Funds were raised for the Incorporated Soldier’s and Sailors’ Help Society. It consisted of a series of tableaux of famous battles, the scripts of which are reproduced here. The plates are re-imaginings of some of those battles.
