Minor rubbing at very edges of corners. Slight darkening to endpapers with neat inscription to front “From Mother, 1936.” Some light spots to outer page edges else inside pages all very clean and tight. A very good copy. 288pp. With 4 Black and White plates Illustrated by John Campbell. Angela Brazil, was the first of the British writers of "modern" School Girls' Stories genre - written from the characters' point of view. This twentieth century genre aimed to write entertaining rather than instructional or improving stories.
