Hardback, approx 8 x 5.5 inches. In dark green cloth covers with gilt to spine and decorated gilt TH monogram to front. Top edge gilt. In good condition. Some light soiling and rubbing to cloth; spine faded and nicked at ends with small chip at bottom. Cloth chipped along bottom edges and at top leading corners. Some light foxing to endpapers, neat inscription to verso of front leaf “Blanche Dutton, 1897.” Some minor darkening to front tissue guard, a couple of small handling marks else inside pages very clean and tight throughout. 301pp. With b/w frontis etching of Melchester and map of Wessex at back.
