10 vols. Hardback, 6.5 x 4 inches. In full calf leather bindings, with red and black morocco leather spine labels lettered in gilt, with gilt decorations and raised banding to spines. Gilt paneled boards and decorative dentelles to board edges. Marbled endpapers and page edges. In very good conditions. Some minor darkening to spines. Some minor rubbing to corners and edges. Some minor rubbing marks/darkening to boards. Bookplates to front endpapers “Jenkin Jones, Royal Engineers.” Inscribed overleaf “To Libby, from her affectionate cousin, G. L. Hills.” Some minor darkening to endpapers, a couple of very minor spots, else inside pages, all very clean, bright and tight throughout. 319pp. Each Illustrated with and engraved frontis plate and decorative title page with vignette illustration. With folding facsimile of handwriting. (Approx 320pp per volume.)
