Two Volumes. Both large approx. 10 x 15.5 inches. In beautiful full leather bindings with decorative gilt edging to boards, highly decorative gilt and raised banding to spines, with red and black gilt lettered spine labels. In very good conditions. Corners of boards are bumped with some rubbing to edges. Some minor chips to ends of spines. hinges slightly cracked; Front hinge of vol.1 split. Some minor marks/rubbing to boards. Inside pages clean, bright and tight throughout. Stunning map to front of vol.1 clean and bright, very slight tear to corner nr binding. Owners bookplates to endpapers. And Original bookseller labels in corner of front endpapers “H.V. Day, Dorchester.” Additional Plates; View of Dorchester, v.1. p374. & Mr. Cox’s House, Woolcombe, v.2. p462.
