An attractive and decorative map with 2 coat of arms, a nice elaborate title cartouche (with title in Latin and English)., large cartouche around the scales, with a divider above it, and another large cartouche around a box with has no writing inside. There are 1 ship and a vignette illustration Wide margins. In superb condition. Lovely strong yet delicate colouring, and strong impressions of the printing. The centrefold (as usual), no creases or tears. Blaeu published a county Atlas of England and Wales as part of his "Atlas Novus". The maps are mainly based on Saxton and Speed. In a number of instances, Blaeu grouped several Welsh counties together on a sheet.
