Nicely hand-coloured (the hundreds are coloured in outline). Engraved surface 41 cm x 36 cm. The title of the county is contained in an ornamental cartouche. After the publication of the final edition of "Britannia" in 1637....the work was not published again until 1695 when Dr.E.Gibson undertook the various editorial revisions. The new work contained fifty maps, mostly of the English counties with maps prepared by ROBERT MORDEN. This map is from the subsequent edition in 1722
