Hardback, 4to. approx 9 x 7 inches. Half bound with vellum spine and plain paper boards. In good condition. Later binding; boards heavily rubbed and darkened. Some creasing and minor darkening to map, edges rubbed. Neat inscription to title page “Joseph Ewens Tucker, London 1846, bought from John Moncas.” Inside each page is bound with a blank ‘guard-page’ between each, original pages are darkened around edges with some minor foxing spots. But overall a very clean and tight copy. Fold-out map of Dorset by ROBERT MORDEN. Pgs.548-604 of "Magna Britannia." Engraved Table of Distances at rear.
