Maroon leather spine label lettered in gilt with raised banding and gilt decoration to spine. Speckled edges, plain endpapers. Binding by “David Bryce & Son, Glasgow.” In very good conditions. Fine bindings by “David Bryce & Son, Glasgow.” Edges and corners rubbed, leather on corners with surface chips. Spines rubbed with some dark marks, boards rubbed. Inner hinges slightly cracked between endpapers. Some slight darkening, some light minor foxing spots, and some light handling marks to pages, some minor dakening and spots to plates, else very clean and tight copies. 759 + xiv & 752 + xiii pp. Illustrated with 17 engraved B&W plates of Arms.
