Blind embossed detailing to leather on boards. In very good condition. Corners of boards are chipped and bumped, edges rubbed. Spine has been professionally re-laid with modern spine and original boards. Some darkening to page edges at top. Endpapers with some minor darkening and light foxing. Inscribed by the author “For the Rev. A. Grant, from P.B. Duncan with kind regards and all good wishes.” Tiny nick to edge of dedication page else inside pages all very clean and tight throughout.
