Hinges cracked, Pasted excerpt by Lord Wolseley to front endpaper, several inscriptions to following endpapers; “R.B. Froleci, from Mother 1882. Dorothy L. Coventry, Chanten Hall Stables, Berwickshire 1926.” Some minor darkening to frontis plate, Else a clean and tight copy. 375pp + 32pp cat. Revised by G.A. HENTY, after the original author's death, who brought the narrative down to the end of the Egyptian War of 1882.
