Edges and corners heavily rubbed. Lettering and gilt has faded on spine and front. Hinges cracked between endpapers. Neat inscription to front “A.Staveidi, 1919” “...given to me by Margaret Staveidi after Alick’s death.” Inside pages heavily darkened/tanned. Pages a little brittle and slightly chipped at edges. Some minor darkening to plates. A couple of minor handling marks else pages clean and tight. 376pp. Illustrated. Over 100 b&w photographic plates. Coloured frontis. Numerous maps.
