Tall 8vo. (Approx 8 x 5 inches.) In green cloth covers with gilt to spine gilt monograms to fronts. Top edges gilt. Black endpapers. In very good conditions. Some minor rubbing to corners and edges of cloth. Some light rubbing marks to front and spine of Wildfell Hall. Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre have slight rubbing nr bottom of spine. Jane Eyre hinges cracked between endpapers. Neat inscription to endpaper of a couple of vols “Giddiups”. Letters stuck to front endpaper of Jane Eyre (has slightly torn top of endpaper) Some light foxing to frontis engravings and page edges. Else inside pages very clean and tight throghout. Nice copies. --- The collected works of the Bronte sisters including the poems of Emily and Anne. Jane Eyre, Shirley, Villette, The Professor, Wuthering Heights, Agnes Grey, Tenant of Wildfell Hall, and The Life of Charlotte Bronte by Mrs Gaskell. Some of the photographs are of the purported settings of the novels.
