Spine faded/rubbed, a couple of small holes to rear edge on spine nr lettering. Corners rubbed/slightly bumped. Embossed “WHSmith” stamp to front endpaper. Neat pencil inscription to half-title “Horace Paul,1891.” Inside pages very clean and tight throughout. Partial crack between rear endpaper. Else an excellent copy. 280pp. 25 b&w illustrations.
