Some rubbing to ends of spine. Endpapers darkened and cracked at front. Some slight darkening/tanning to pages else very clean and tight throughout. Colour plates clean and bright. 204pp + Cat. 80 colour plates & Author’s portrait. Short biography of the noted Victorian watercolourist Helen Allingham, painter of countryside scenes of cottages and village folk. 80 colour plates, each with a date and description.
