Tall 8vo. Approx 8 x 9 inches. Half bound in green cloth to spine and illustrated paper wrapped boards. All page edges gilt. Decorative endpapers In very good condition. Spine faded. Corners bumped. Some dark rubbing to boards with a couple of marks and a couple of small nicks to leading edge. Neat inscription to front endpaper. Else a clean and tight copy. Beautiful colour chromo-lithographs are bright and vivid. 33pp. With b&w and colour chromo-lithograph illustrations by John Gilbert. A selection of songs from Shakespeares’s plays together with a few sonnets.

Hardback, Tall 8vo, size approx 9.5 x 6.5 inches. In navy blue full calf leather binding with red leather spine label lettered in gilt, raised banding and extensive gilt decoration to spine, gilt paneling and gilt vignette to front. Gilt inner dentelles. Marbled endpapers. All page edges gilt. In very good condition. Admiralty prize binding. Spine faded and a little rubbed. Corners slightly rubbed. Minor rubbing to rear board. Ends of spine slightly rubbed. Small glue repair to top of front hinge. Prize bookplate to front endpaper “Cadet R. Oliver, 1920, Presented by the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty.” Some light foxing to endpapers, with a few odd spots to page edges, Else a very clean and tight copy. Eyre & Spottiswoode binders label to rear. ---- Beautifully bound edition of Shakespeare. Very fine binding. 1003pp. With an engraved frontis portrait.
