Cover is quite worn, corners are bumped and rubbed, edges chipped (quite heavily along top edge.) Marks to rear and bottom front edge. Spine faded. Front endpapers soiled and darkened. Some marks and foxing to outer pages (index, title, contents..) Some light foxing and handling marks but otherwise pages clean and tight throughout. A very scarce title. 16 full-page plates & many text illustrations.; Folded map at the back. 315pp.Cat.16pp.(dated Oct.1905).
