In very good condition with good dustwrapper (dw; spine slightly darkened and rubbed at ends. Corner chipped and small piece missing from front top edge. Small marks. Not price clipped). Covers slightly faded with small marks. Mild foxing to edges. Owner’s inscription on front endpaper. Else a clean and tight copy. The aim of the book is to indicate something of the quality and quantity of the buildings of the Church of England erected outside London between 1603 and 1837. It is the author’s opinion that the provinces have much to boast of.
