Else a very clean and tight copy. 130pp. With large fold out map and b/w photographs. A brief history of Dorset is followed by descriptions of towns and villages and important buildings, with b/w photographs.

Pages clean and tight throughout. 364pp. + LXXVpp. Catalogue at rear of book has two interesting illustrated plates of one side illustration and the other plans of Dalry Necropolis and Newington Necropolis, Metropolitan Cemetary Association.

Binders stamp to edge of front endpaper “Estes & Lauriat, Boston.” Plates darkened. Frontis loose, rubbed at edges. Else inside pages all very clean and tight throughout. 308pp. Illustrated with 10 hand-coloured engraved plates & 100 text illustrations.
