Tall 8vo. Blue cloth gilt. Map on endpapers. 33 photo.illustrations, including frontispiece of the GRACE HARWAR. pp.12 / 227 pp. Colour on spine and part of covers faded, with front cover a bit marked along hinge. Large but weak spot of foxing on lower title-page, else clean. There is a small newspaper cutting pasted below the ship on the frontispiece (telling us the this ship, " one of the last remaining full-rigged sailing ships, left Victoria dock...on her last voyage to Rosyth, where she is to be broken up". Very good to good condition. Voyage in the 3-mstd. "Grace Harwar" from Swansea to Australia & back. From Herbert S.Carter’s library, with and inscription from his mother on front endpaper.
