Two of the men and the boy carry sticks and the man with the kepi holds a book. One man has a modern style tie and the other two have theirs tied in bows. There are sailing boats in the background and a high hill, maybe the Rock of Gibraltar.

This child wears a belted top with lace collar, and wide legged breeches with ankle boots. The man is reading a paper, has a waisted jacket with waistcoat and a bow tie, and is carrying a stick.

This man also carries binoculars with the case slung over his shoulder. The three men wear gloves. The boy has a suit with trousers cut to just below the knee, with striped socks and ankle boots. He wears a pill box hat. A small group of people in the background stand and sit under a roofed stand.
