Hardback, 8 x 5.5 ins. Quarter bound green morocco leather and grey marbled paper covered boards. Gilt lettering, gilt decoration and raised banding to spine, gilt line detailing to boards. Top edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. In very good condition. Corners a little bumped, edges rubbed. Some fading to leather and paper on boards. Neat inscription to front endpaper “Stuart K. Relfe from his affectionate friend Anne S Metcalfe. Highfield 1898.” Some light foxing to endpapers, title page and page edges else a very clean and tight copy. 151pp. 97 b&w plates, some folding.
