Hardback, 7.5 x 5 inches. In green blind stamped cloth with gilt lettering and decoration to spine, blind paneled boards. Brown endpapers. In very good condition. Cloth bright and clean. Corners and edges of spine slightly bumped and rubbed. Bookplate to front endpaper “Bromley Naturalists Society,” with stamps to next free endpaper, top of preface and first text pages. A couple of minor light foxing spots to endpapers. Else a very clean and tight copy. 13 text woodcuts. x + 208 pp; Adverts 32pp. (dated Feb 1888).
