Hardback, small (pocket) 6 x 3.5 inches. In mottled full calf leather binding, with extensive gilt decoration to spine and covers. All page edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. In very good condition. Boards obviously darkened and rubbed at edges and corners bumped. Some rubbing to spine. Free marbled endpapers lost. Deleted inscriptions to following free endpapers, (some dates still legible). Top edge of main title page torn. Some minor darkening to pages else over all a very clean and tight copy. A very beautiful copy of an exceedingly early edition. Unpaginated. With decorative engraved title page, decorative chapter headers and letterpeices.
