Some rubbing to corners and ends of spine, spine darkened, some handling marks to rear. Bookplate to front “Carberry Tower, Elphinstone.” Some darkening to endpapers and foxing to ‘half-title’ page, some light foxing to pages throughout. Else a clean and tight copy. 265pp. Cat. 24pp; With 11 b/w plates, vignette on title page by A. Thorburn.
