Hardback, approx 7.5 x 5 inches. In dark green beveled edge cloth covers with gilt lettering to spine and front. Black line bording to top and bottom edges. KPT monogram to rear. In good condition. Corners bumped and rubbed, ends of spine nicked and chipped. Some darkening to spine, small mark to rear. Hinges cracked between endpaper. “Henry Ling” bookseller label to rear. Near inscription to half-title “Geo. Allner 1889.” A couple of minor handling marks and some minor tanning to pages else a clean and tight copy. --- Issue point; missing letter “R” from “Trench” at bottom of title page. 467pp. With 43pp cat. (dated 8.86.) Contains three collections and a glossary.
